Sustainability
Thoughtful design, naturally responsible
At GINLEE, sustainability isn’t an afterthought—it’s woven into everything we do. From the materials we choose to how we produce, repair, and reimagine fashion, we take a considered approach that complements our design philosophy. Here’s how we’re incorporating responsibility into our process, seamlessly and intentionally.
MADE WITH PURPOSE
Every fabric we use is chosen with intention—designed for longevity and crafted with responsibility. Our scarves feature lyocell, a responsibly sourced fiber known for its durability and softness. Select styles, like the Dylan Jumpsuit and Noah Top, are made with Naia™, a biodegradable fiber produced in a closed-loop process with a low environmental impact. Our Jovi Trousers incorporate REPREVE®, a high-performance fiber made from recycled plastic bottles, designed with thoughtful details for easy recyclability. By incorporating these materials seamlessly into our designs, we ensure that sustainability supports—not dictates—the aesthetic and function of our clothes.

MADE TO BE MINDFUL
Excess inventory is one of fashion’s biggest challenges. With Get-Order-On-Demand (G.O.O.D), we shift traditional markdowns to the start of the season—customers can choose to wait for their items and receive a discount so that we produce only what’s needed. This helps reduce waste, improve inventory planning, and create a more thoughtful way to shop. By rethinking the production cycle, we make it easier for customers to participate in a more responsible way of consuming fashion, without sacrificing the pieces they love.

MADE BY YOU
MAKE is our in-store, on-demand production model—garments are pleated and assembled only when you want them, reducing excess stock and encouraging personalisation. By working with a single base colour and modular add-ons, we minimise material waste while allowing you to create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. This not only keeps our design process flexible and efficient but also makes every piece more intentional and curated to what you need.

MADE TO LAST
Clothes are meant to be worn and loved. Our repair services help extend the life of your pieces, whether it’s a simple fix or a creative upcycling solution. Using thoughtful techniques, we breathe new life into garments, keeping them in your wardrobe—and out of the landfill—for longer. Beyond preserving individual pieces, our repair services encourage a mindset of care, ensuring that style and sustainability go hand in hand for years to come.
